Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course has an intake of 100 seats at the GD Women Teachers Training College, and admission onto this basis is by merit from the qualifying or entrance test, as per policies of the state government and university. Candidates should have completed graduation in a relevant subject to qualify for the B.Ed. Programme.

B.Sc. B.Ed: As an integrated course, it incorporates Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education with a total of 100 seats. Admissions are conducted through the same merit system as followed for B.Ed. Applicants must be sound in science subjects of 10+2 level.

B.A. B.Ed.: The integrated program for Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education course will admit 100 students. Selection for admission will be on the basis of merit in a qualifying examination or entrance test. This program is suitable for candidates with a humanities or arts background at the 10+2 level.

D.El.Ed: Admission for 50 seats is offered for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). The procedure of admission based on the merit of the qualifying examination or on the basis of results of the entrance test is similar to the other programs. This program is for candidates aiming toward primary level teaching.
