With the intention to bring a qualitative change in the teacher education system of Telangana, the illustrious Great College of Education, Hyderabad. Recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), this college now has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program which trains students to be teachers at the secondary level. The admission process in Greater College of Education is through merit and follows the guidelines derived from the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The primary channel for admissions to the B.Ed program of Greater College of Education will be through the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) conducted across the state empowered to all faculties.
