B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education):
The B. Ed. programs are training for aspiring teachers within a two years full-time course train. The admission to B.Ed. would be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations or else on the performance in an entrance examination depending on the policy of the state government, the administration of the UT and the affliating university.
D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):
The D.El.Ed. program is a two-year diploma at the institute. Admission to D.El.Ed. will purely depend on merit. The performance of candidates either in the qualifying examination or in the entrance test prescribed by the institute would be considered. Designed for those wanting to become basic-level educators, eligibility criteria need to have had higher secondary from a recognized board (10 + 2) to be eligible for the course.
