Hemanshu Vikram Singh Institute of Teaching and Training, Faizabad Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Hemanshu Vikram Singh Institute of Teaching and Training Faizabad is a co-educational institute affiliated to the university and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). To select the most deserving candidates for its teacher education courses, the institute holds a comprehensive admission procedure. Admission procedure is based on merit as well as policies and regulations prescribed by State government, Union territory administration and the affiliate university.

The institute offers two specializations in teacher education that can be pursued in B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Application Process

1. Admission Dates Advertisement: through different media, the Institute provides official notifications of when exactly the admission dates will begin.

2. Application Form: Candidates are required to obtain the application form and submit the filled application form. The form may be either on the Internet or downloaded in print from the admission office of the institute.

3. Document Collection: Candidates should also attach some photocopies of enclosures together with the completed application form, such as:

   • Size passport photographs

   • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-graduation as applicable)

   • ID -proof valid for identification

   • Category certificate (if applicable)

   • Any other specific documents mentioned by either the institute or regulatory authorities

4. Entrance Examination: Depending on the course for which the candidate had applied and the state policy in effect at the time of matriculation, an entrance test may have to be taken by the submitting candidates. The institute will notify on this entrance test, its syllabus, and pattern of the examination date of importance.

5. Merit List Preparation: The merit list shall be developed by the institute depending on the marks secured in qualifying examination and/or entrance test.

6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: Candidates put into the shortlist will be called for counseling, on which they shall be assigned a seat based on merit and availability.

7. Payment of Fees: The successful candidates shall pay the required fee before they can be confirmed into the institution.

8. Verification of Documents: The institute shall verify all the documents submitted by the candidates before confirming their admission.

Degree-wise Admission Process

• B. Ed. (Bachelor of Education):
  The B. Ed. programs are training for aspiring teachers within a two years full-time course train. The admission to B.Ed. would be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations or else on the performance in an entrance examination depending on the policy of the state government, the administration of the UT and the affliating university. 

• D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):
  The D.El.Ed. program is a two-year diploma at the institute. Admission to D.El.Ed. will purely depend on merit. The performance of candidates either in the qualifying examination or in the entrance test prescribed by the institute would be considered. Designed for those wanting to become basic-level educators, eligibility criteria need to have had higher secondary from a recognized board (10 + 2) to be eligible for the course.
