The college offers two well-defined programs, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Admission at Jai Ganesh College of Education is sought to be manageable merit-based and regulatory to the norms laid down by the state government of Maharashtra along with the university to which it is affiliated.

For admission, candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized university.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):
D.El.Ed. is also a 2-year course of the college. The admission process for D.El.Ed. has the same process as that of B.Ed. The admission is merit-based selection. The state government and/or election by UT administration processes are where eligible candidates are admitted mainly on the basis of performance in the prerequisite examination and/or entrance tests. Operational limits concerning the number of intake for D.El.Ed. are not specified as it is included in the total intake of 97 students.
