      KUCTE B.Ed Admission Process

      The B.Ed course at KUCTE is a full-time two-year course aimed at creating professional and committed teachers who are capable of meeting the demands of modern classrooms. The course has a sanctioned intake of 50 students, providing a learner-centric environment to enable personalised attention and effective learning.

      KUCTE admission to the B.Ed course is merit-based, taking into account the performance of candidates in their qualifying exams. The course syllabus deals with different aspects of the teaching profession, such as educational psychology and creative teaching methods.

      The eligibility criteria for the B.Ed course are generally:

      • A bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university
      • Minimum marks percentage as decided by the University of Kerala (generally 50% or equivalent CGPA)
      • Candidates belonging to reserved categories could be eligible for relaxation in the minimum marks as per government guidelines.
