Madhyamgram B.Ed. College, a very popular teacher training college, has been around for a while now which is situated at Madhyamgram, West Bengal. The college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration and it is NAAC accredited. The admission process of Madhyamgram B.Ed. College has been designed to be merit-based and to select only deserving candidates for different teacher education programs.

The selection process will follow the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. This program has a two-year duration.

D.EI.Ed. Diploma in Elementary Education: The D.EI.Ed program has an intake of 100 seats. Admission to this program is also on a merit basis considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process follows the policy of the state government. For aspiring elementary teachers, this is the course.

M.Ed. Master of Education: The M.Ed. program has an authorized intake of 50 students. Similar to the B.Ed. program, merit is the basis for admission into M.Ed. depending on the qualifying examination or entrance exam score of the candidate. The selection process is carried out according to the state government guideline and that of the associated university. It is a two-year program for those interested in acquiring advanced knowledge in education.
