Madhyamgram B.Ed. College, a very popular teacher training college, has been around for a while now which is situated at Madhyamgram, West Bengal. The college is affiliated to West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration, and it is NAAC accredited. Madhyamgram B.Ed. College admission process has been designed to be merit-based and to select only deserving candidates for different teacher education programmes.
The college follows Madhyamgram B.Ed. College admission policy based on merit as per the guidelines of the State Government of West Bengal and the affiliated university. B.Ed. Bachelor of Education: Madhyamgram B. Ed. College has a sanctioned intake of 100 students for the B.Ed. programme. Admission into the B.Ed. programme is open on the basis of merit that is, the marks secured in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process will follow the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. This programme has a two-year duration.
D.EI.Ed. Diploma in Elementary Education: The D.EI.Ed programme has an intake of 100 seats. Admission to this programme is also on a merit basis considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process follows the policy of the state government. For aspiring elementary teachers, this is the course.
M.Ed. Master of Education: The M.Ed. programme has an authorised intake of 50 students. Similar to the B.Ed. programme, merit is the basis for admission into M.Ed. depending on the qualifying examination or entrance exam score of the candidate. The selection process is carried out according to the state government guideline and that of the associated university. It is a two-year programme for those interested in acquiring advanced knowledge in education.
