The D. El. Ed. programme will have only 50 seats, where admission is made the same way as in B.Ed. Maulana Azad Muslim Teacher Training College admission is on merit derived from the qualifying test or entrance examination as stipulated by the state government or UT administration. This is a two-year diploma course meant to train teachers in the elementary level. It intends to enable them to build teaching competencies to teach at primary and upper primary level.

This B.Ed programme shall offer 200 students an admission, as sanctioned by the government. This full-time course lasts two years and intends to cater to students preparing to teach in secondary and higher secondary levels.
