No, you likely cannot edit your rank details in NIFT counselling after submission if it involved entering wrong numerical values. NIFT counselling processes often involve locking in your choices to prevent last-minute changes and ensure fairness for all applicants.
Allowing post-submission edits could raise security concerns and make the counselling process less transparent. Once choices are locked, it ensures everyone competes based on the initial submissions.
Immediately contact NIFT authorities via email or phone (check their website for contact information). Explain the situation clearly – that you accidentally entered wrong rank details during counselling submission. If the mistake was minor (e.g., a typo in one digit), politely request the authorities to consider correcting it on their end, especially if the counselling process hasn't yet reached the seat allotment stage.
Be prepared for the possibility that NIFT might not be able to edit your choices. In that case, you'll have to participate in the counselling process with the rank details you mistakenly submitted. If the counselling process involves multiple rounds, you might be able to modify your choices (including rank preferences) for subsequent rounds, assuming your application isn't locked in for the entire process.
