Hope you are doing great ! From where you heard that statement that it is not good beleive me it is worth if you put some effort from your side as well . Also It is as good as all the other centers only that the faculty is not that strong and resources are less when compared to NIFT Delhi or Mumbai . The great thing about the campus is that nothing beats the view from NIFT, Kangra. My friends from there are like literally on a four year long hill station vacation.

First of all congratulations on securing general rank of 40 in btech so let me tell you the cut off in nift Delhi for general category is very neck to neck and it's really difficult to predict about the exact situation.

The dynamics gets changed every year depending upon certain factors like:-

• Number of candidates appearing in the examination
• Number of vacant seats in college
• Previous years cut offs
• Difficulty level of the paper

However you can go for colleges like nift Mumbai, Chennai,Patna, Bhuvaneshwar,jodhpur and a few more.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, as you have secured decent rank in N.I.F.T ( National Institute of Fashion Technology ) that is category Rank 145 . So yes you can certainly get admissions in N.I.F.T as the closing rank is around 2200 to 2500 and you have good ranks as compared.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, as your rank that is EWS category rank is 354 which  is very low as compared to the previous year cutoffs so getting admissions in N.I.F.T ( National Institute of Fashion Technology )  very difficult. So you are advised to try again next year with full preparations and focus. You should certainly work hard and should try to achieve high and high in examination.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, as the caste validity certificate and caste certificate both are same as it shows the prove that you belong to particular category. Validity of any category certificate is till 1 april after it you need to renew it.So you are advised to get it updated by visiting it to the nearest tehsil or S.D.M office
