Ramsakal Smarak Mahavidyalaya is a self-financed affiliated college in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. This college runs two major programs—Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)—under its roof. The college adopts a merit-based admission process according to the policies determined by the state government.

In order to be eligible for the D.El.Ed program, applicants must have completed 10+2 and achieved at least 50% in the final examination. As for the BA program, eligibility requires completion of 10+2 or an equivalent stream.

Application Process

For BA Program:

• Fill out the application form for the BA program.

• If state-cum-government policy mandates entrance exam, applicant will have to appear for the exam on the given date.

• Wait for the merit list based on qualifying examination marks and/or entrance examination results.

• If selected, complete the admission process by document verification and fees payment.

Degree-wise Admission Procedure

BA: Bachelor of Arts
The BA program at Ramsakal Smarak Mahavidyalaya is a three-year undergraduate course, and admission to this program presumably is merit-based depending on the marks obtained in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. The minimal requirement for the BA is completion in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream. 

D.El.Ed: Diploma in Elementary Education
The D.El.Ed constitute a two-year diploma course for students who aspire to acquire teaching competencies at the elementary level. The admission procedure for the D.El.Ed course is very clear. Only those candidates who had completed 10+2 with 50% of marks can apply for eligibility. Merits are selected based on qualitative examination marks and/or entrance examination results or any other selection process based on government policy in each state. Approved intake for this course is 50 seats.
