Shibnath Saha Teacher Training College is an eminent teacher education institution situated at Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal. At Shibnath Saha Teachers Training College, admissions are granted to merit deserving candidates for two primary programs which include Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The admission procedure is also governed by the policy of the state government and the affiliated university. Those candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university are entitled to apply for the B.Ed course.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): D.El.Ed also enrolls 100 students per year. The admission guideline of D.El.Ed is almost identical to that of the B.Ed as they both follow the merit process. Students' qualifying examination performances and/or entrance examination results will also be considered. All admissions follow the guidelines and stipulation of the state government or UT administration. General eligibility involves the completion of higher secondary education through a recognized board.
