D.EI.Ed is a two-year programme having a 100-seat intake capacity. SPS College of Education admission will be based on merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Used to choose those students who could no longer take the subject after finishing General Studies at school. This system had already been working in the past, but according to the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University.
B.EI.Ed programme is offered with 50 seats available for this course. SPS College of Education admission is also on the same merit-based grounds as in the case of D.El.Ed, in which the marks obtained from the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination will be considered.
BA B.Ed is a four-year integrated programme with 50 seats. SPS College of Education admission will be on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state Government/University/UT Administration. At the time of SPS College of Education admission, students are required to mention their selection of subjects for discipline options and pedagogic specialisation.
Like the BA B.Ed programme, this also has 50 seats, and B.Sc B.Ed is for a four-year integrated course at the institution. The process of SPS College of Education admission and the subject selection procedure is also the same as for the BA B.Ed programme.
It is a two-year programme. The number of seats is not mentioned for B.Ed; however, the merit-based SPS College of Education admission process considers marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance exam performance.

It means candiates should write there as following:
In English in the case of teaching of English
In urdu in the case of teaching of Urdu
In Hindi In the case of teaching of Hindi
In Punjabi in the case of teaching of Punjabi
In Sanskrit in the case of teaching of Sanskrit
It means one can write exam of D.EL.ED in English only for English language.
