48 MonthsThe NMIMS (Deemed to be University) is introducing the B. Sc. (Animation and VFX) from August 2021. The salient feature of this programme is the emphasis being laid on the overall development of student with major focus on application and field work. The course manly focuses on Multimedia & its Applications, Basics of animation and postproduction of animation, digital film production and photography, Introduction to visual communication, 3D Animation and modelling, Gaming Technology, Television and film Production Analysis etc. Students will get many opportunities of interactions with experts in these fields during the course tenure. The students can gain hands on experience in the field while doing internships in industries/research institutes/private sectors under the guidance of experts in the fields.
Course Duration: 4 years
B. Sc. (Animation and VFX) is a 4 years course, with major focus on advanced knowledge of animation, visual communication, multimedia and graphics industrial scopes and applications in the field.

A total of 60 seats are available for the B. Sc. (Animation and VFX) programme
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have 12th Science/commerce/Arts or equivalent examination (Diploma in engineering/ITI etc.) from recognize board with minimum 50% aggregate marks. The preference will be given to the candidates who had completed national level certification courses in drawing, acting, dancing and photography, sculpting and modelling.
Admission Details
Merit list will be based on the performance of the candidates in 10 + 2 or equivalent examination. The selection will be solely based on merit. In this regard, the decision of the NMIMS will be final and undisputable as also shall be binding on all concerned.
