National Institute of Fashion Technology Mumbai admission is a competitive process. The institute offers admission to a B.Design in 5 different specialisations, B.F.Tech Apparel Production, M.Des and MFM. 

• Admissions at NIFT Mumbai are done through the NIFT exam.

• Candidates aspiring for the BFT Apparel Production Course need to complete the application form.

• Admission to the BFT Apparel Production Course at NIFT Mumbai requires a successful completion of the NIFT Entrance Exam.

• Candidates will undergo a written test comprising a General Ability Test (GAT). 

• Shortlisted candidates from this test will only participate in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) as part of the selection procedure.

NIFT Mumbai MDes Fashion Design Admission Process

• Candidates have to fill out the application form first to get admission to the M.Design Course at NIFT Mumbai.

• After that, the NIFT entrance exam has to be given.

• Candidates will have to appear for an examination consisting of a Creative Ability Test (CAT) and a General Ability Test (GAT). 

• Shortlisted candidates need to undergo a personal interview session. 

• To confirm the admission, students have to pay the fees and go for the document verification.
