Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh, became a well-established institution for imparting teacher education in Haryana, India. Tagore College of Education offers two main programmes: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Education (D.Ed). The Tagore College of Education admissions are designed to select deserving candidates based on merit, following the guidelines of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and those of the state government. The D.Ed programme admissions are granted under the rules and regulations laid down by the State Government, the U.T. administration, and the affiliated university. D.Ed (Diploma in Education) at Tagore College of Education offers 50 seats. Tagore College of Education admission for the selected batch is on the basis of merit, taking into account marks in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The D.Ed programme is conducted following the policies of the state government, of the U.T. Administration, and of the university to which the programme is affiliated. Generally, eligibility for the D.Ed programme requires candidates to have passed their 10+2 education through a recognised board.
Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh: 100 seats are allocated to the B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) programme. Admission is performed on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The Tagore College of Education admission procedure follows the policies framed by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and the state government. For admission into the B.Ed programme, the candidates have to possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the relevant field.
