Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh Admission Process

Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh, became a well-established institution for imparting teacher education in Haryana, India. Tagore College of Education offers two main programs: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Education (D.Ed). The admissions to the Tagore College of Education are designed to select deserving candidates based on merit, following the guidelines of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and those of the state government. The admission process followed by the college is a merit-based one, in which the admissions take into account the marks secured by the applicants in their qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.

As for those students who will be admitted into the B.Ed program, the entire admission process is controlled by the policies framed by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and the state government. The policies might have due considerations for academic performance in previous qualifications, performance in entrance examinations, and anything else prescribed by either the university or the state government. The D.Ed program admissions are granted under the rules and regulations laid down by the State Government, the U.T. administration, and the affiliated university. This will serve to standardize and level the admission process for all candidates.

Application Process

The admission procedure of Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh, consists of the following steps:

1. Notification: The commencement of the admission process is notified by the college through different modes of media and on its website.

2. Application Form: The candidates need to obtain and fill the application form. This may be available online on the college website or personally at the college admission office.

3. Document Submission: Along with the completed application form, the candidates have to submit all necessary documents, which include:

  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation/post-graduation as applicable)
  • Valid ID proof
  • Recent passport size photographs
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other document specified by the college or university

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): Tagore College of Education, Mahendergarh: 100 seats are allocated to the B.Ed program. Admission is performed on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The admission procedure follows the policies framed by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and the state government. For admission into the B.Ed program, the candidates have to possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the relevant field.

D.Ed (Diploma in Education): D.Ed at Tagore College of Education offers 50 seats. Admission for the selected batch is on the basis of merit, taking into account marks in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The D.Ed program is conducted following the policies of the state government, of the U.T. Administration, and of the university to which the program is affiliated. Generally, eligibility for the D.Ed program requires candidates to have passed their 10+2 education through a recognized board.
