Tagore College of Education, Siwani Admission Process

The establishment of Tagore College of Education, Siwani, has formed one of the best institutions which are much concerned about molding the future of the aspiring teachers. This college, which has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), conducts specialized courses in education. 2. Application Form: Candidates can get the application form fills it out and attach all required documents. Application forms are probably downloadable from the college website or may be obtained from the admission office.

3. Document Submission: Along with completed application form candidates must submit all other requisites which generally include -

  • Passport size photographs,
  • Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation as applicable, if available),
  • Entrance examination scorecard (if applicable),
  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC) if applying under a specific category

Degree wise admission process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed program offered by Tagore College of Education is one of the major and preferred choices by the would-be teachers. Admissions to the course are done depending on merit calculated based on marks obtained in the qualifying and/or entrance examination. The intake sanctioned by the college for the B.Ed course is 200 students. Eligibility generally includes a bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university.

M.Ed (Master of Education): For the M.Ed admissions, entry is done on merit. The merit is determined by aggregates of marks gained from combined qualifying tests, i.e., usually a B.Ed, and/or from an entrance. This may also include any other criteria depending on the policy of the State Government and UT Administration or even affiliated university. The eligibility should be that a candidate has completed their B.Ed or equivalent degree from an institute recognized.

D.Ed (Diploma in Education): The admission procedure of the D.Ed program also follows a merit system. The merit is determined on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination or an entrance examination. Selection procedure as a whole is dependent on the policies ordained by the state government and the concerned education authorities. Generally, eligibility is completion of 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.
