Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Hons.) program in collaboration with Google Cloud in Cloud Computing/Data Analytics offers students with a strong foundation in electronic circuits, modern communication systems in telecom, embedded systems, and signal processing, while integrating advanced skills in cloud infrastructure, big data, and intelligent analytics — a must-have in today’s interconnected world. The program develops engineers who are both technically strong and innovation-driven having in-depth exposure to Cloud Computing or Data Analytics, expanding their hands-on capabilities for handling large-scale data and cloud infrastructure backed by Google Cloud tools and IBM. Students who are opting for ECE along with certification in Cloud computing will be awarded with the degree of B. Tech-ECE (Hons.) with Google Cloud Specialization in Cloud Computing while a student option for ECE along with certification in Data analytics will be awarded with the degree of B. Tech-ECE (Hons.) with Google Cloud Specialization in Data Analytics. industry embedded certification are add-ons and optional for students. Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)
PEO1: To prepare graduates with a strong foundation in Computer Science and Applications and problem solving & programming skills in order to build successful careers professionals in industry, government, academia, research, entrepreneurial pursuit and consulting firms.
PEO2: To equip students with analytical, design, development and soft skill to find innovative solutions to the real-world problems in collaboration with industry and professional societies.
PEO3: To inculcate entrepreneurship, managerial skills and team work in our students through demonstration of good analytical, design and implementation skills for the betterment of individuals and society at large.
PEO4: To produce graduates who are ethical, socially responsible and lifelong learners to fulfill their goals.
Eligibility Criteria
General Category Applicants : A minimum 65% aggregate score in the last qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 pass/appearing with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Equivalent to 10 +2 from any recognized higher secondary boards as per the list of Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) List.)
SC/ST/OBC Category Applicants : A minimum 50% aggregate score in the last qualifying examination i.e. 10+2 pass/appearing with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Equivalent to 10 +2 from any recognized higher secondary boards as per the list of COBSE List.)
