About Vivekananda College, Delhi
Vivekananda College was established by the Delhi Administration (now the govt. of NCT of Delhi) in the area 1970. The foundation stone of the College building was laid by Prof. S. Nurul Hassan on October 26, 1976, and in the year 1979, the building was dedicated by Swami Ranganathananda of the Ramakrishna Mission. The institute is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Vivekananda College offers Bachelor with Honours in Commerce, Applied Psychology, English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sanskrit, Mathematics – B.Sc. (Honours) and Bachelor Programme in Computer Science, Food Technology, English, Commerce, Arts, Music, History, Economics, Political Science, French and Mathematics. M.A. (Hindi) and M.A. (Sanskrit) are the postgraduate courses offered by the institute.

Vivekananda College offers various courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Admission to the undergraduate courses is based on marks secured in class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination by calculating the marks of best four subjects. Admission to the PG courses is offered via two modes - merit basis and through entrance exam.
