Research Methodology:

Ranking Methodology: The colleges are ranked as per the cumulative score that they have received. The college that has got the maximum cumulative score will be ranked first while the college that has got least cumulative score will be ranked last.
IISER Tirupati is having a well-established hostel. The building has 4 floors. Each floor has 46 rooms (in a total of 184). All rooms are equipped with furniture (i,e cot, mattress, study tables, chairs, pedestals, and almirahs). Drinking water and washing machine facilities are provided on each floor. All bathrooms are connected with hot water facility for bathing purpose. In the ground floor, we have a Gym, a room for music practice and indoor games, well-furnished study room, a TV Hall, a wellness clinic, a modern kitchen, and a spacious dining hall. Additionally, there is also 24x7 security services separately for Boys to take care of the students in addition to Hostel Managers.

Have a health center for quick medical assistance. The health center has a doctor available in the evenings. We have a full-time nurse, Ms. Nimmy K. Prasad, in charge of the center. The Center has facilities, such as first-aid management, OP consultation, provision of medicines, and routine check-up. The health center refers you to a hospital if necessary. The institute has also an ambulance facility in the case of emergencies.
G. N. Ramachandran Library of IISER Tirupati started functioning from August 2015 to meet the learning, teaching and research needs of the students, faculty, and staff of the Institute. It aims to provide knowledge and services for building excellent communities in the scientific world and for promoting each individual to get success in their R&D activities with well-established Library facilities. The Library houses a good collection of textbooks, general books and reference books such as encyclopedia, dictionaries, laboratory manuals, etc. Library using Koha open source Integrated Library System for its acquisition and circulation activities. Library also provides online access to various journals as well as full-text and bibliographic databases available in the field of basic sciences and allied subjects. The Library is a member of e-Shodh Sindhu: Consortium for Higher Education Electronic Resources and IISER Library Consortium. Communication from the Library includes announcements, notices, reminder emails about overdue books, reservations, recall of issued items, article delivery, etc. Members are therefore requested to check their emails regularly.

Teaching labs are well equipped for performing experiments. We have multiple copies of sophisticated equipment of international standards. In the chemistry department, the two UG labs are well equipped with all basic instruments such as fume hoods, Schlenk lines, rotary evaporators, analytical balances, PH meters, etc. to conduct both modern and classical experiments. Similarly, Biology has sophisticated instruments for student training. Our Physics laboratory has high-end equipment like Scanning Tunnelling Microscope, X-Ray Diffraction, Millikan's oil drop experiment, Photo-electric effect, Zeeman effect, Michelson interferometer, Speed of light detection, etc., to list a few.
well-equipped gym on the campus. The facilities include both Cardio and Strength exercises. In the Cardio room, we have treadmills, spin bikes. In the Strength section, we have equipment such as dumbbells of different weights, barbells, plates, bars, bench-press, chest-press, leg-press, leg-extension, leg-curling, lat-pulley rowing, decline benches, and lat pull-down machine, to list a few. Considering the hot climate of Tirupati, our gym is fully air-conditioned. We also have a trainer for newcomers. The help of the training person can be obtained in the morning and also in the evening. The gym facility and the training are absolutely free of charge for the students, staff, and faculty. Gym Rules: You cannot walk-in with your jeans and shirt. You need to have a sporty dress. You should not use your regular shoes or chappals. You should wear running/training shoes. You cannot use boots (say, of football) inside the gym because it is bad for your backbone while running on a treadmill. Also, you may slip when you workout with weights. You should also bring a towel (not a kerchief) to avoid leaving sweat on any equipment. Other rules include the use of the safety clip in the treadmill and not lifting heavy weights/bench-press with heavy weights when you are alone in the gym.
