     Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUA) was established in 2008 in Anantapur. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University got divided into three independent universities- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad; Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada; Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur and that's how JNTUA came into existence. The university is recognised by AICTE. JNTUA has five constituent colleges namely JNTUA College of Engineering, Anantapur; JNTUA College of Engineering; Pulivendula; JNTUA College of Engineering, Kallakuri; JNTUA- Technological and Pharmaceutical Research Institute, Anantapur;  JNTUA- Department of MBA, Anantapur. JNTUA has a total of 160 affiliated colleges- out of which, 98 are engineering colleges, 33 pharmacy colleges and 29 stand-alone MBA/MCA colleges.     The institute provides a wide range of facilities and infrastructure to its students. Separate hostels for the boys and girls are available at JNTUA, as well as a library with a large variety of books, magazines, and national and international journals.     Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur Cut Off

    The JNTUA cut off for M.B.A. programmes is determined by the scores obtained in the AP Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) counselling conducted by the Convener, Admissions, AP ICET, and the JNTUA cut off for M.Phil/ Ph.D. programmes is determined by the scores obtained in the university's entrance exam.

    JNTUA Scholarships

    The institution offers scholarships to needy and meritorious students. Students of JNTUA are also encouraged to apply for various state and national scholarships. Students residing in the state of Andhra Pradesh can apply for Post Matric Scholarship. The scholarship scheme is available to all the students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority, Differently abled categories on a saturation basis. Every qualifying student would receive Rs 20,000 per year for food and hostel expenses under the scheme. The eligibility criteria for applying to this scholarship is that an individual must pursue polytechnic, ITI or degree courses from any government/aided/private colleges, affiliated to the State Universities/ Boards with an aggregate of minimum 75%. The annual income of the family must be less than or equal Rs 2.50 lakhs.The family's total land holdings must be fewer than ten acres of wetland, twenty-five acres of dryland, or twenty-five acres of both dry and wetland. Moreover, there must be no government employee or pensioner in the candidate's family.

    College is established many years ago,So it is a bit old ago but it is still good and has good infrastructure.Laboratories Have well Working Equipment.Students have all Basic facilities. Classrooms are clean and Maintained. Colleges has Good ground with Basket ball court etc.,The library is vast and has all books ranging from basic aptitude to M.tech,MBA books also.Students can use these to reference .College also has Wi-Fi.And the living spaces are clean.Food is little Bad and we have to Adjust

    So I had been enjoying studying in this prestigious college

    The infrastructure is good .The labs are well equipped. the materials in the labs are sponsored by teqip. The class rooms are well equipped.the computer centre is very good and it is very useful to students.

    College Infrastructure

    The college have all the necessary equipment and facilities. We've sufficient classrooms. Most of our laboratories have all the stuff required. We have a big play ground and gym. There are two hostels with two blocks each for girls and 3 hostels for boys. We do have wifi in computer center of our college. Moreover every branch have their own wifi in their departments. The living spaces are clean. The food is hygienic but it not tasty in my opinion.

    Government engineering institution JNTUA College of Engineering, Kalikiri is associated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. A full-time BE/BTech programme is available via the college in a number of specialisations. AP EAMCET results are used to determine admission to the BTech programme, which is followed by AP EAMCET Counseling.

    Mechanical engineering, computer science, civil engineering, food technology, electrical & electronics engineering, and electronics & communication engineering are the six undergraduate B.Tech. disciplines offered by the institute.     Admission in to First Year B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Food Technology shall be made on the basis of the merit rank obtained by the qualified candidate in entrance test conducted by the AP State Government (APEAPCET) or on the basis of any other order of merit approved by the JNTUniversity Anantapur/ AICTE (Under PMSS), subject to reservations as prescribed by the AP Government from time to time or any other guidelines provided by AP state Higher Education.

Eligible and qualified candidate need to attend centralized counselling process conducted by the Convenor APECET (Admissions) to get admission into the engineering branch offered by this Institution.
