Established in 1957, the JLN library is located at a central place of departments of Kurukshetra University. The library has three blocks namely Ranganathan Block, Ram Prasad Bismil Golden Jubilee Reading Hall and Savitri Bai Phule Block having the capacity of accompanying more than 1700 students. The building of the library is fully air-conditioned and the reading hall is open from 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight on all days except the government holidays. Kurukshetra University has smart classrooms so that students can understand the concepts easily. All the classroom are fully air-conditioned and has modern amenities. KUK facilities include a library, separate hostels for boys and girls with all the required facilities, ATM facility, transportation facilities, guest house, auditorium etc. In total, the university has 25 hostels out of which 11 are boys and 13 are for girls. These hostels offer all the necessary facilities and a comfortable atmosphere for the students to have a home-like accommodation away from their families.

The university has a well-established placement cell that is headed by a placement officer who works in coordination with teachers and students coordinators at the departmental level.
