The Department of Electronic Science at Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, is one of the prestigious constituent departments at the university and imparts specialized education in the stream of electronics. These laboratories are further equipped with fully equipped apparatus on state-of-the-art technologies such as digital and analog oscilloscopes, curve tracers, Hall Effect measuring instruments, and digital and analog circuit kits. This facility gives hands-on experience in the advanced research to be carried out by students in their respective fields of study. Furthermore, there is a well-settled IT infrastructure and sports facilities consisting of a health centre that has first aid services, which complement the developmental atmosphere of the students.

The department structures a total of three full-time postgraduate courses, suitable to the various specialisations in the field of electronics: MSc Electronic Science, M.Tech VLSI and Microelectronics, and M.Tech in Nano Science and Technology. All these programs are spread over a period of two years, therefore ensuring that the student gains a lot in terms of theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on experience in the chosen areas of specialisation.
