MATS University, Raipur offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. MATS University courses are offered in multiple streams such as sciences, arts, humanities and social sciences, engineering, computer application and IT, law, commerce, management and business administration, education, pharmacy, animation and design.

MATS University diploma courses are Diploma in Computer Application, Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mining Engineering and Diploma in Pharmacy. Some of the MATS University UG courses are BBA, BCA, BSc, B.Com (Hons.), BA (Hons.), BA, BSc (Hons.), B.Lib. ISc., BTech, BA LLB, LLB, B.Ed, B.P.Ed and B.Pharm.

MATS University PG courses include MBA, MSc, MCA, PGDCA, M.Com, M.Des, MA, Post Graduate Diploma, M.Lib.ISc., MTech and LLM. The university offers PhD in different disciplines and it also offers a Post Doctoral programme which is a D.Sc programme. BA LLB	Passed Class 12th from a recognised board.
LLB	Passed 12th and three-year graduation, with 12th being the basic qualification. The pass percentage is 45% marks for the general category, 42% for the OBC category, and 40% for the SC/ST category.
B.Ed	Passed Graduation
B.P.Ed	Graduation in any discipline
B.Pharma	Passed 10+2, Physics & Chemistry is compulsory.
MBA	Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
M.Sc Computer Science	Bachelor's degree from any recognised university.
MCA	Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree. Or Passed B.Sc/ B.Com/ BA with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying exam.
PGDCA	Bachelor's degree from any recognised university.
M.Com	Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration (B.Com or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognised university.
M.Des	Passed any Graduation degree from any recognised university.
M.Sc Biotechnology	Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. Biology or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognised university.
M.Sc Microbiology	Bachelor's degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc. or equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognised university.

M.Tech Computer Aided Structural Engineering
LLM	Passed three-year LLB degree or a three-year integrated LLB degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate of the qualifying degree exam (For candidates of SC/ST category, a relaxation of 5% marks).
MA Yoga	Passed graduation from a recognised university.
PGD Yoga Education	Passed graduation from a recognised university.
PhD	Passed master’s degree with at least 55% marks from a recognised university.
D.Sc. (Post Doctoral)	Candidates must have a doctorate degree in the relevant subject.

The campus is small but other things at good like classrooms, wifi connectivity , sports ground , medical facilities, sports and games are excellent of my college , food quality is not so good but normal

Mats university infra is huge and you'll see many institutions in the same campus but no smart class though you can play sports ,no swimming pool bus facilities is there and hostel is good and the food is hygienic and clean

College is good a very bug university in CG purely atutonomus , classrooms are huge , hostels are very good with variety of foods and its hygenic , wifi is everywhere in the campus though low speed, and also sports are also there.

Hi aspirant,

To do computer science and engineering or information technology one needs to have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in intermediate studies. Now since you have basic maths in class 10th then you cannot choose mathematics as a subject in class 12 and hence you won't be able to be a software engineer. However engineering is not the only way to become a software developer you can also do bachelors in computer application which does not required mathematics as a compulsory subject and proceed in the field of development application and websites.
