Anand College of Education, Paschim Medinipur, is one of the well-known institutes offering several courses in Education and Pharmacy. Application Process

Application procedure at Anand College of Education varies according to respective programs:

For B.Ed. Program:

  1. The candidates have to check the official site of WBUTTEPA very frequently regarding any announcements related to B.Ed. admissions.
  2. The candidates have to apply through the centralized admission portal of WBUTTEPA.
  3. The candidates would fill up their application form with personal and academic details.
  4. Documents to be uploaded as prescribed in the application guidelines.
  5. Fee for the application to be paid given the mode prescribed.
  6. The duly filled-in application form must be submitted online.
  7. Wait for admission announcement by WBUTTEPA through merit list or entrance test.
  8. Once the names are out, selected candidates for admission would follow document verification at the Anand College of Education.

For D.El.Ed. Program:

  1. Visit the official website of the College or State Education Department for admission announcement.
  2. Application forms may be downloaded from the website or collected from the College office.
  3. Fill out the application form, providing all relevant information.
  4. Attach copies of the required documents, including academic certificates and mark sheets.
  5. Submit the duly filled application form and requisite fee to the College.
  6. Sit for the entrance examination, if conducted by the state government.
  7. Await the release of the merit list based on marks in the qualifying exam and the entrance exam, if any.
  8. Once selected, report to the college for document verification and admission.

Generally asked for documents for both the programs include:

  • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates
  • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (for B.Ed.)

Degree-wise Admission Procedure

B.Ed.(Bachelor of Education): A BUED program at Anand College of Education attracts a lot of would-be teachers. The college has an approved intake for this course receiving 100 seats with the admission process being strictly adhered to as per the WBUTTEPA guidelince. Admission for B.Ed. should have met the eligibility criteria for the centralized admission process by the University of WBUTTEPA. It is mostly concentration on merit based on performance in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination conducted by WBUTTEPA.

D.El.Ed.(Diploma in Elementary Education): The merit basis for D.El.Ed. included two most chief considerations:

  1. Marks obtained in Qualifying Examination
  2. Marks in Entrance Examination (if conducted).

The admission policy is following that laid down by the Government of West Bengal. Candidates should meet the minimum eligibility criteria and participate in the selection process as per guidelines.

The total number of seats in Anand college of pharmacy, Agra are 100 seats for B pharma course, the total duration of the course is of four years and the exam is accepted to get admission in the college for B pharma is UPCET exam, the total fee of the course in the college is 3.63 lacs, and the course in the college is approved by AICTE and is offered by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam technical University Lucknow.

The admission to the 85% of the seats for B pharma in the college is through state entrance exam (UPSEE) counselling, the admission to other 15% seats is through direct admission under AKTU guidelines under management quota.

The eligibility criteria to get admission in same in this college is that the candidate must have passed their 10+2 from any recognised board, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or biotechnology or computer science as compulsory subjects, candidates who have completed two years diploma in pharmacy with atleast 60% marks are also eligible for the admission.
