      Academics

The syllabus is very well organized and cover all parts of media studies like journalism, mass communication, film, advertising, photography etc. All the teachers have a good command over the subjects they teach. The syllabus is updated and help you to clear you understand the subjects and also create your own ideas about the subjects. But lack of practical classes and assignments can create a problem in earlier stage of your job.

      College Infra

Institute of mass communication film and television studies is affiliated by Kalyani University. The faculties are very helpful and maintained a healthy relationship with their students. The library contains good books for the subjects. But the laboratory facility is poor. As a media student you need strong practical knowledge but this institute cannot offer you that much practical knowledge.

      Campus Life

The campus life is great. The ambience of the institute is very positive for students. The staffs are very helpful. The college is located in Prince Anwar Shah Road Kolkata. The location is very proper and near to metro station. It has gaming room. And also they serves delicious and hygienic food in canteen.

      Placements

The placement opportunity is pretty less. This institute do not have collaboration with good companies. In media field no one promise you job or placement but a little help from your institute can help. But in this institute they don't offer you any good placement.

      Value For Money

I paid 79000-80000 per year for my course. So the total course cost is approximately 3 lacs. The institute teaches you the theory part very well which helps you to clear your basics about the subjects. So it helps you to build your future in media field or academics.
