State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the university. Even if we do not get into details, the admission procedure for teacher education course like Ch Indal Singh Mahavidyalaya must broadly be in the following manner as established by state government norms.

Application Process

1. Advertisement: Various means of publicity are used to announce the commencement of admissions.

2. Application: Candidates get and complete their application forms. Forms may be available either online or from the college campus.

3. Document Submission: Completed applications must be submitted with copies of all relevant documents, including:

• Marksheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation as applicable);

• Valid photo ID;

• Passport-sized photo;

• Caste/category certificate (if applicable);

• Any other documents specified by the college or state authorities.

4. Entrance examination: Depending upon state policy, candidates may be asked to appear for an entrance examination, and syllabus and pattern will be as prescribed by the state authorities.

5. Preparation of merit list: Merit list is prepared on the basis of marks secured in qualifying examination and/or entrance test.

6. Counseling for admission: After the merit list comes out, counseling is done for the selected candidates wherein documents are verified and admissions are finalized.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

B.Ed

• Intake: 100 seats

• Basis for admission: Marks obtained in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Selection must go by the policy of State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the affiliated university. Candidates who have an undergraduate degree in relevant subjects are considered for B.Ed programs.

D.El.Ed

• Intake: 100 seats

• Basis for admission: Admission to D.El.Ed proceeds along the same lines as that of B.Ed international. Merit is computed on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. Admission is conducted by the concerned authority as per the admission policy of the State Government or UT administration. The general eligibility for D.El.Ed is higher secondary (10 plus 2) passed by the candidate.
