PSG College of Arts and Science admission for all programmes will be merit-based except for MSW and MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) courses as the admission to these courses will be based on an entrance examination conducted by PSGCAS. Students who are interested in taking admission to PSGCAS Coimbatore will have to register online on PSGCAS admission portal. After registration, the PSG College of Arts and Science application form filling process will start, students are required to fill up all the necessary details along with required documents for the courses they are opting for. For the PSG College of Arts and Science entrance examination, students are required to provide all the necessary documents and details for the application form and appear for the entrance examination. The eligibility and fees will vary from course to course in both UG and PG programmes.
All the fields must be filled by a new user to complete the registration.
Students should provide their full name as mentioned in the Class 10th/10+2/Transfer certificate without any special characters.
The student is required to enter the 10th and 10+2 exam roll number issued by the board
The email id of the student provided during the registration will be used for the entire admission procedure which cannot be changed in future.
The mobile number of the student provided will be used for communication purposes during the entire admissions process.

Application and registration of application are available only in online mode. Students are required to fill up the admission form with all the necessary details and choice of course students are willing to study with all necessary documents.
Students who are eligible and willing to apply for admission to more than one UG/PG degree and PG Diploma courses have to submit a separate application for every course through online mode.
The rank list will be made on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 or aggregate marks of the undergraduate course for the relevant course by the student.
All registered students will be ranked based on their marks and a rank list will be uploaded on PSGCAS official website. The ranking list will be based on these factors

Number of Attempts / Year of Passing
Cut-off or subject marks
In case of equal cut-off between two registrations, the ranking will be based on earlier registration date and time
Once the ranking list of all students is uploaded for each course, selection and the waiting list will be prepared and published for each allocation in the merit category accordingly.
It is mandatory for the students to take part in the counselling process of PSGCAS admission.
Final admission will be offered to the student based on the merit list, document verification and fee payment for the following course.

A provisional list of selected/waitlisted students will be displayed on the notice board in the respective departments within 15 days after the date of the entrance examination.

The selection will be based on the marks scored by the student in the entrance examination and the marks secured in the 2nd year or till the 5th semester of the undergraduate programme.
Final admission will be offered to the student based on the merit list of the entrance examination, counselling process, document verification and fee payment for the following course.
