Degree Wise Admission Process
B.Tech: There are five B.Tech programs at GCED: Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. All five programs are of a duration of 4 years. The prime criterion for getting into these programs seems to be the marks achieved by the candidate, either in JEE Main or in the MHT-CET examination. Below are the total intake numbers for each B.Tech program:
Institute-level seats, which remained vacant during the DTE Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds, are now opened for applicants who did not appear for the MHT-CET or who had JEE scores that were invalid.
M.Tech: GCED only has one such specialized course, which is M. Tech in the area of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, with an intake of 18 students. The GATE score may be taken into account in the admission procedure of M. Tech, but it lacks much specificity.
MBA: There is also an MBA, which also has 60 seats in the college. Not much has been specified about the admissions procedure, but it seems to be following some management entrance exams.
