This is a government-run first grade college located in Malur, Kolar, Karnataka, and this college has been a premier institution in the area. The college has 5 specialisations under BA programmes. For admissions in BA, performance in the above class 10+2 will solely be taken on the factors of performance in the same class. College takes aggregate percentage obtained from the candidate with preference to higher percentage candidates who have taken relevant subjects in class higher secondary education.
There are 2 specialisations available under the B.Sc programme. Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc courses must have completed their 10+2 with Science subjects. The selection of candidates is made based on the percentage obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology marks, depending on the specialisation that has been taken.
There is 1 specialisation in B.Com offered by the college. Admission to B.Com is dependent upon the results in 10+2 examination of the candidate, giving preference to students who studied Commerce or related subjects in higher secondary.
In the case of the BBA course, which has 1 specialisation, any student from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) can apply after completing their 10+2. Admission is based on the overall percentage obtained in the qualifying examination.
This Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree offers 1 specialisation. This BSW course is open to aspirants from all streams who qualified with 10+2 education. Admission may further be based on aptitude determination as applied to the study of social work.
The qualification requirements for post-graduates in economics necessitate that the candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics or an equivalent field. Admission is based on the weighting of the degree examination grades.
