Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
A Candidate seeking admission to the first Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course
The candidate shall have passed PUC subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individual and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (PCBE) taken together in the qualifying examination.
In the case of candidates from the steam of Vocational Higher Secondary Course conducted by the Board of Vocational Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala the candidate shall have taken a minimum of 5 (Five) subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in addition to the Vocational Subject (vide RGUHS Notification No. RGUHS/SEF/EC. B.Sc. Nursing/191/2005-06 dated 18.05.2006), and shall have passed the said examination in all the subjects individually and shall have obtained a minimum of not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English took together in the qualifying examination.
Age: The candidate should have completed 17 years on or before the 31st day of December of the year of admission. The candidate shall be medically fit.
Admission Details
Selection of the candidate should be based on the merit in the entrance examination held by University or competent authority.
