Currently I am studying my final year in narayana engineering college Gudur in the stream of electronics and Communication engineering,I have choosed it because i was very interested in circuits. The quality of the teaching in our college is very good and some of our faculty are very supportive.
The quality of placement in our college is good and I can say that this year we got 100% placement and one of our friend in my class has placed in Infosys and the highest package we got is 7LPA and lowest package is 4LPA.
Our college have smart classrooms, labs and research centers and a Micro Nano Research Development Cell (MNRDC); there are hostels for boys and girls a variety of food courts / cafes and on campus mart

Visva-Bharati offers a vibrant, culturally rooted environment with solid libraries and functional academic spaces. Its natural setting enhances campus life, though aging hostels, labs, and certain blocks highlight the need for renewal and improved infrastructure investment.
Visva-Bharati’s academics stand out through their cultural and interdisciplinary approach. Strong faculty and distinctive teaching methods shine, yet more structured academic growth and updated syllabi could elevate the experience.
Visva-Bharati’s placement scene is improving, with supportive faculty and helpful training modules. Opportunities differ by discipline, but the placement cell’s efforts show results. With wider industry linkages, it could do even better. A solid 4 stars.
JECRC University has a well-developed and modern campus. Spread over about 32 acres, the campus includes spacious academic blocks, nice landscaping, and well-planned residential and public areas. The classrooms and lecture halls are well-equipped with modern facilities, which support a good teaching–learning environment. There are multiple laboratories (computer labs, engineering labs, specialized labs) that are technically equipped — good for practical work and experiments.
Academics at JECRC University are quite strong, especially in technical and management courses. The curriculum is updated regularly and includes practical learning along with theory, which helps students understand concepts better. Many departments conduct workshops, seminars, and hands-on sessions that make learning more interesting.
Highest package offered was ₹33 LPA. The “average package” for that drive was ~ ₹6 LPA (or ~₹6.45–6.8 LPA, according to some reports). “Offers made” ≠ “Students placed.” A single student may get multiple offers — so 2,230 offers don’t mean 2,230 students got placed. According to some student-reviews on Reddit and elsewhere, the official “average package” might mix placements from different fields — not always core tech roles.
It's really good to Campus life at JECRC University is overall enjoyable and engaging. The university has a lively atmosphere where students can participate in many activities along with studies. The campus is well-maintained, and there are plenty of spaces to relax, study, or hang out with friends.
classrooms are cleaned ,benches and chairs are some what insufficient, library is available, faculty are well behaved ,clean campus ,food is not so good in hostels, free food for hostels ,fee structure are good compared other collages.
studying BSC nursing, teaching was good ,faculty will help to reach your goals yahh it was good to study in this collage ..well behaved faculty .and supportive faculty .no fests and partys in collage no freshers party no any other fest in collage ????so sad for that .
no placement proved from collage ...work experience should be given by our college ,coz we daily go to hospital to learn and practice our work and duties ,but it was good to be in svims college .stress is more
no boring life in college
The infrastructure of the college is good and we have our own library and clean classrooms and for each class there will be a smart board and they keep the college very clean.the food in our college is also hygienic.
I am studying bca and I have choose ai because I have interest in computers and the quality of the teaching is very well in our college.and some of our sirs encourage us very well to so the work.amd the behaviour of them is very nice.
The placement in our college is very good as i am in 2nd year my seniors told me that the placement are very good and we don't want to miss the chance which the college providing the campus placement.
The canteen and cafeteria facilities are there where we can get good quality snacks and food . Our university has its own hospital, Sports facilities like volleyball, basketball, badminton, and all types of indoor games are available at our college.
MCA students require 50% pass marks, but teachers support us with notes and important questions. Sometimes campus life feels monotonous, but events and management activities refresh us. Overall, learning is smooth and students feel comfortable with the teaching style.
Around 70% of the students from our batch got placed through campus placements. The highest salary package offered was nearly ₹8 LPA, the lowest was about ₹3.5 LPA, and the average package stays around ₹5 LPA. The placement cell supports students with training sessions and interview guidance before the drives.
The College has a health centre for medical support, and students get quick access during emergencies. Gym facilities are also present. The main issue is transportation, which can be inconvenient for students commuting daily.
Faculty members are very supportive and friendly. The teaching quality is great, especially in healthcare management subjects. Some teachers are PhD holders and also have experience working in hospitals and healthcare organizations, which helps in practical learning.
Placements for MCA students are good here. Around 85–90% of students from our batch got placed during campus selections. The highest salary package offered was around ₹6 LPA, while the average stays close to ₹4–4.5 LPA.Internships are also very well managed and mostly every students able to grab internship in good company.
The infrastructure is good and well structured. The campus environment is calm and suitable for medical studies. The library has required radiology and medical reference books with a quiet reading atmosphere. 24/7 Wi-Fi facility is available across the campus.
The teaching quality is good, and teachers are well-qualified with strong backgrounds in medical imaging fields. They explain practical concepts clearly and support students during clinical exposure. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and if we prepare well, scoring good marks is not a problem.
Companies that visit for BCA are mostly from IT sectors such as TCS, Rudra Tech. Internships are provided to many students — nearly 60–65% get them through college guidance — but better corporate connections are still needed for management students.
Hostel Wi-Fi works fine in most areas, but speed and connectivity can drop at times depending on the location, which is a downside. Hostel rooms are maintained properly with regular cleaning and proper washrooms. Mess food is average, but on festivals and special days it gets much better.
Teachers are friendly and cooperative. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and if you study consistently for a week before finals, scoring more than 75–80% is achievable. The curriculum builds basic IT knowledge helpful for future studies.
Placements for BCA students are average here. Core commerce companies rarely hire fresh graduates directly, so students who want good placement usually choose higher studies like MCA or M.Tech. So placements are okay, but not great for pure IT and Technical profile.
college infrastructure is so good. everything is available in our college also faculties are amazing. the canteen is so clean its hygienic and food quality is also so good. I would love to recommend this college to everyone
I am studying BBA right now cause BBA is a professional course and these days degree is the first priority . BBA opens career path. It has a huge opportunity in market, so I am pursuing BBA, and it really helps me a lot. I am learning new skills it will help me to grab new opportunities
placement of our college is also outstanding. I really do not know the percentage & package of our college. But college offers a good placement to all students. if any student has good result, he will grab the opportunity fast than others
our college campus is so big. students really love to engage there.
The infrastructure of the college is average. Classrooms are functional but somewhat old — desks and chairs are fine, though ventilation and natural light could be better. The labs are usable, with basic equipment, but many machines are outdated and sometimes maintenance is lacking. The library exists and has a modest collection, but the reading space is crowded during peak hours. Hostel rooms are okay but not very clean, and there are occasional water or hygiene issues. The canteen offers meals at reasonable cost, but food variety and quality are not great. Internet/Wi-Fi is patchy; sometimes connectivity is good, sometimes very slow or unavailable. Overall, the college meets basic infrastructural needs, but it doesn’t offer modern facilities or comforts — good enough for studies, but not much beyond that.
Academics in the college are overall average and there is definitely room for improvement. While some teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, the teaching approach is not very consistent across departments. One of the major issues is that the syllabus is often not completed within the semester timeline. In daily classes, teachers mostly take very easy examples, which makes the topic look simple, but when exams come, they give standard or difficult questions that were never practiced properly in class. This creates a big gap between what is taught and what is asked in examinations. Students feel unprepared and end up memorizing answers instead of understanding the concepts.
Placements in our college need a lot of improvement. The median package offered to students is quite low compared to other colleges in the same field, which makes it difficult for many students to feel confident about their career prospects after graduating. Very few reputed or top-tier companies visit the campus, and most of the recruiters that do come offer only average or sometimes below-average salary packages. As a result, the overall placement ratio is not very encouraging. Many students have to search for off-campus opportunities or internships on their own because the support from the placement drive is limited.
Campus life in our college is pretty average and could be a lot more vibrant. There are not many events or cultural activities happening throughout the year, so students often feel like they are just coming to college for classes and going back home. A college campus should be full of energy, celebrations, and opportunities for students to showcase their talents, but here, the number of events is very limited. Even the major events that do take place are small-scale and lack proper planning and excitement.
Nothing much just focus more on competition for real world project display and support system instead of attendance thing.
You have hundreds of complaints about the university but inspite of all, this is worth it. Some Faculties are just in name teachers, but some are brilliant. Campus is awesome. Freedom and accountability go hand in hand.
I am currently studying BA (or your course) at this college. The overall quality of teaching is average. Some faculty members are helpful and explain topics well, but others rely too much on old methods and do not engage students effectively. The curriculum is mostly theoretical and not fully updated with recent developments in the field. Although a few subjects are relevant, the course as a whole does not feel very job-oriented. More practical exposure, updated materials, and interactive teaching would greatly improve the academic experience.
The placement situation in the college is quite disappointing. Very few companies visit the campus, and most of them offer low salary packages that are not suitable for the effort students put into their studies. There is no proper guidance or training for interviews, and the placement cell is not active throughout the year. Students mostly have to search for opportunities on their own. Overall, the college needs to improve industry connections and provide better support if it wants to offer meaningful placement opportunities.
Campus life here is one of the strongest aspects of the college. Students enjoy a free and open atmosphere where debate, discussion, and critical thinking are encouraged. The campus is often politically vibrant, with students actively engaging in social issues and progressive conversations. It feels like a space where diverse opinions can be expressed safely and respectfully. Various clubs, cultural events, and student-led initiatives create an energetic environment that supports intellectual growth and personal development.
Yes. Worth it. You will gain a lot. So worth it that there is a saying that one can enter jadavpur by choice but can't get out of it. The horrendous campus and college life will haunt in all through your life, In a good way.
Overall the university is average with decent education and faculty experience class rooms are bit orthodox with some have smart classes enabled labs do not have advance machine cleanliness is good placement will majorly depend on your caliber and 100% placement is myth
Curriculum is old not upto date as per the market you need to do a lot of intership on your own and keep yourself market ready all exam are judged on the basis of how long answers have you written and marks depend on your relationship with faculty
Placement are not at all good be ready to burn your soul in order to get placed from the university they provide silly reason to get you removed from the eligible list of students they do that just to improve their number
The college provides excellent infrastructure with well build classrooms, modern labs, a good library and clean surroundings with so many greeneries. All facilities are well maintained and very useful for students.
The academic environment is excellent, with supportive faculty members and interactive teaching. The curriculum is well-updated, and the classes are well structured to build strong concepts in students.
The placement cell is supportive and conducts the training sessions, mock interviews and workshops. Several good companies visit the campus, and many students get placed with decent packages every year.
Infrastructure is mostly good, things are well maintained but the old buildings need a bit maintenance the lift in the old building surely need maintenance and the other building new a few more washroom in the below floor
Young teachers are fun and they teach well they make learning fun and enjoyable many old teachers should actually learn to teach that way like just reading and then explaining it is boring even if we are learning it from presentation
I think the placement is ok like it depends on what kind of a student you are I heard from others that like placement are very good if you're actually a good student even huge companies come her for placement
College campus is pretty clean it got a good place to chill food court to eat though a bit pricy overall a good place to hang out with friends, students can go to gym if they want they can sit near a fountain to pass time
College's infrastructure is good any it looks pretty aesthetic and cook but needs some maintainance. Overall all fine and the classes are also near and clean as compared to other government colleges and universities.
Not good at all for journalism and mass communication department. Only have 3 faculty and the HOD do not wants to take the classes. She is very lazy and just wants to harrasment of the students. Very bad.
No placement facility for mass communication department.other department may have placement facility but for mass communication department we have no placement or pratical knowledge to work in the field .
Not that great.
Overall I would recommend this college for other department but not for journalism and mass communication.
