B.Sc Biotechnology at School of Life Sciences, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru Offline Course

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biotechnology is a full-time General  (3 Years)  Honours  (4 Years) undergraduate degree course offered by the JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru.

B.Sc Biotechnology programme was started in the year 2013, and being an interdisciplinary course, is one among the leading three year undergraduate degree under the Faculty of Life Sciences. The program aims to meet the increasing demand for trained manpower (to accomplish both academic and industrial need) in the field of life-sciences across the globe. The curriculum is designed to educate students covering basic knowledge and advanced skills in thearea of biotechnology and their application in research and development sector of industry, agriculture and medicine.

The Programme is intended for students who would aim to develop their knowledge and career pertaining to biotechnology. The course is designed to provide critical and practical skills to analyze, evaluate, design and implement solutions and strategies.

To provide in-depth insight into the programme, curriculum for students are prepared as to the norms of choice-based credit system (CBCS), which includes Core, Skill based, Allied and Elective papers.
