Admission Process Degree Wise
B.Ed.: B.Ed. is the flagship course of the institute. The sanctioned strength is 300. The college follows the admission process according to the guidelines framed by the state government, UT administration, and the respective University.
M.Ed.: There are 50 sanctioned M.Ed. student intakes. For M.Ed., admission is, therefore, processed on the principle of merit—taking into consideration the candidate's academic achievement both in the qualifying examinations and in the entrance test.
BA B.Ed.: This integrated program allows students to pursue a degree in Arts in parallel to a degree in teaching during four years. The admission process deals with the merit of the candidates' performances in their 10+2 examinations. Additional eligibility criteria may be set by the concerned authorities.
B.Sc.B.Ed.: Just like BA B.Ed., this program is an integrated program blending a science degree with a teaching degree. Admission is primarily based on the merit of the candidate's 10+2 examination marks, along with any other eligibility criteria expressed by the concerned authorities.
D.El.Ed.: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) is applied on the basis of the merit list with respect to marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance at the entrance examination and directed in accordance with the policies of the state government or UT administration.
