Thong Nokbe College, Karbi Anglong Admission Process

Thong Nokbe College, Karbi Anglong, is such an affiliated college that provides quality education to all students in the northeastern region of India. Degree wise Admission Process

Thong Nokbe College has three undergraduate-level academic programs, all of which are offered at the undergraduate level. Admissions into these programs are based on CUET UG. The degree-wise admission procedure is as follows:

BA (General): A general degree in humanities and social sciences is provided to the students. Admission into this program will depend on the performance of the candidate in the CUET UG examination. All aspiring students for General Arts can apply for this degree.

BA English (Honours): The BA English (Honours) course is specifically designed for students who want to specialize in the analysis and study of English literature. The admission process puts a lot of axial pressure on CUET UG scores, probably laying more weight on the subject English. Candidates endowed with tremendous language and literature talents are required to take this program up.

BA Education (Honours): The program trains extensively in education studies. Admission into BA Education (Honours) is determined by performance in CUET UG. Application for this course is directed to students with interests in a teaching career or furthering their studies concerning the domain.

Candidates for all programs must satisfy eligibility criteria stipulated in general by the college: namely having completed 10+2 from an established body. The specific cutoff scores and subject-specific requirements will change each year for each program, depending on the pool of applicants and what is being offered.
