The infrastructure of DAV University is well-planned and modern, with spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a rich library, computer centers, and sports facilities. The campus is clean, safe, and student-friendly, providing a comfortable environment for both academics and extracurriculars.
The faculty in my department are supportive and knowledgeable. They are approachable whenever we have doubts, and many of them encourage us to think beyond the syllabus. I also liked that the university organizes seminars, guest lectures.
The placement opportunities at DAV University are decent, with the placement cell making good efforts to invite companies for recruitment drives. Students from fields like management, computer science, and engineering generally get better chances.
My college's infrastructure is very well maintained like the classrooms, library, hostels, canteen, labs, buildings are well maintained which also motivates the students to do their best in their firld.
I would rate it good in terms of academics, the faculty is well trained and they teach with utmost sincerity which is in best interest of the students. They also conduct exams to review student performance.
While studying, I've seen my seniors getting placed to good companies from campus placements . Placement process is only based on one's capabilities ,skills an what they can offer to a company as an employee.

My experience at DAV University has been overall positive with a few areas that could improve. The campus is clean, safe, and fairly modern, with good classrooms, a library, and labs that make studying comfortable. I appreciate that the university maintains discipline, which helps create a focused academic environment.
The placement opportunities at DAV University are decent, with the placement cell making good efforts to invite companies for recruitment drives. Students from fields like management, computer science, and engineering generally get better chances, while placements in other streams can be more limited. Training sessions, workshops, and soft-skill classes are also organized to prepare students for interviews.
DAV University can be considered fairly good in terms of value for money. The fee structure is reasonable compared to many other private universities, and students get access to modern infrastructure, qualified faculty, and decent placement support. However, the value also depends on the course you choose, since some programs offer more industry exposure and career opportunities than others.
Campus life at DAV University is disciplined and safe, with a friendly environment that helps students focus on their studies. While the campus has facilities like sports grounds, a cafeteria, and occasional cultural events, it is not as vibrant or happening as bigger universities. Students who enjoy a calm, structured atmosphere will find it suitable, but those seeking a more energetic social life may find it a bit limited.
DAV University is a growing private institution in Jalandhar known for its disciplined environment and focus on academics. The campus is clean, safe, and equipped with modern infrastructure like labs, library, and sports grounds. Faculty are generally supportive and encourage practical learning through seminars and workshops. Placements are decent, especially in management and technical fields, though they vary by course. Overall, it offers good value for money but a quieter campus life.
The campus infrastructure is great, and the labs, canteen, and classrooms are very spacious. Canteen provides good delicious meals, and the campus is also equipped with the Wi-Fi facility. Overall nice infrastructure.
Every faculty is well qualified alified in their respective fields, and they are very friendly with children that we can easily clear all our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant because by opting for this course, you will be prepared for private industry as well as some private institutions.
Placement is not that bad and not so good in my college it is moderate. Student get placed if she/he capable of doing a perticular task related to the company. Intership is still ok in comparison to placement.
In terms of infrastructure Dav University is good matching decent standards . IT is one of the few universities which upgraded its classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques.

University provides a unique space where you can explore new ideas of knowledge make new friends and participate in activities like lectures, workshop and competitions. Some students describe their college experience as having a family like atmosphere with teachers who are ready to help . College can help you to build up your confidence and communication skills . College can help you to shape your career by studying hard and develop right decision making ability .
Yes, there will be availability of Wi-Fi, labs, library, and classrooms. Classrooms are quite decent as compared to other universities. Hostels in the university are also decent. There are a lot of rooms on the university campus with air-conditioned rooms or non-air-conditioned rooms.
Teachers are very cooperative and are always ready to guide students. Some Teachers are available 24x7. It is a very good opportunity for a student to get quality knowledge and the main focus is self-study. Students need to put more efforts to get ready for industry. Data structures and algorithms keep students mind and thinking ability stronger so, it contributes a lot overall.
As our college was established 4 years back, the placement rate is very low. About 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Companies which visited our college for placements are LG, Patanjali, Extramarks and Samsung. Only 10% of the students get internships in companies.
Good college.
It was not an amazing experience for me. The curriculum was not up to the mark. They don't have an placements in courses like Journalism. Classrooms do not have any smart boards, Computer labs are not up to the mark, There's one library which isn't up to the mark. The ground is fine not that big and hostel food is pathetic. The worst is the hostel food. Wifi is fine but the food again it's pathetic. Toilets and rooms are clean but food is pathetic.
The education system of my course i.e Journalism is pathetic. The classrooms do not have any smart boards. The attendance system is not properly evaluated. The quality of teachers is not good. The curriculum is also bad. The content is just copied from Google andnserved as it is. Our teachers didn't even provide us the study material. Forget about job ready the study doesn't even make us Knowledge ready.
Very less to zero placements. I. My course i.e journalism there was not facility of placements. Forget about placements the internships were also the students stress. Zero students were placed in my course. Even in streams like MBA or BBA you'd find barely any students placed that also with packages ranging from just 4 -5LPA's maximum (very few students placed)
See in my opinion what I paid was a proper amount however the result that yeild was nothing short of disappointment. Don not waste your money in this University. If you want to earn or study well. Don't go for this University ❌❌
The campus is fine nothing big. The water coolers are with washrooms. So unhygienic. Sports was pathetic. The classes were bad. The support system is zero. The Location isn't amazing. No extra circular activities.
The hostel alsonsuffer from bullying issues that are internally solved. Pathetic
During 2020 college was working on his infrastructure. But now infrastructure of DAV University was pretty good and attractive. There are 3 building in which 2 buildings are fully AC. University is equipped with good play ground for functions.
Talking about the academic, mostly all the professor was P.hd holder. Or I can say this out of 10 professor 8 are P.hd holder. Also adding professor help weaker students to join the stream line with the toppers.
Talking about the placement college placement was decent I can say as you would not get high package but you can get decent return on your money which you invested in University. There is no placement for Ba hons English.
It not that good college which give the good value for your the money which you invested. College infrastructure is good but the value for money it is not good till 2020. I don't know about the new data.
Campus life is good and decent. The number of Himachali students are high as compared to other colleges. Till 5 in evening Girls are allowed to do what they want to do in campus and for boys it is 10 in night.
The infrastructure of the university was very good and everyone around the campus was very good all the places were hygienic the time I spent there as a student was very good and excellent experience.
The quality of teaching was top notch and everything about the academics was top notch they conducted exams very frequently and the balance was excellent between study and extracurriculars. The time I spent there was probably the best
The university faculty was very helpful at ebry point they were willing to do evry possible thing in there power to give best to the students of the university and it was shown in there approach how they treat there students
The value for money was on point.
I facilities for student in that college was excellent. They focused the every student honestly . But according to me where they are lagging in providing equipments they focus only on theory but they lagged in practical things . Overall college was very good . Food was very good over there .
I studied B.Sc hon. Agriculture . As i have intrest in that subject soo go with that . As i already mention that they focused on theory not in practical things . there they are lagging . An agriculture field is very intresting and booming in upcoming times .
They are not able to give placements because of some political issues. Placements are not good over there . As one of the mai factor will be covid and some policies which government have change when I was studying over there
If you need knowledge then it was good . But if you are looking for placements or job then you have toh do struggle .
Great it was very good
