Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Ludhiana was established in the year 2005 to impart education in the field of Medical and Allied Sciences, Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Management and Business Administration and Pharmacy.The institute offers degree and diploma courses in full-time mode. 

GADVASU Ludhiana courses include a diploma, B.E/B. Tech, B.V.Sc, B.F.Sc, M.E/M.Tech, M.V.Sc, M.F.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D courses. The university provides admission to students from all over India and abroad based on the merit of the qualifying examination and performance in entrance examinations like NEET UG, MET-Vet, and GAT-B.
