The labs are neat and well equipped with all the necessary equipment and glassware required for practical sessions. Classrooms are adequate with good ventilation, Mess food is hygienic and the taste is good, though not memorable.
The courses covered in the first few semesters appear to be comparatively less significant as far as core biotechnology is concerned, and the syllabus could be industry-centric. Semester exams can be very challenging
There is no appropriate placement facility for students currently available for B.Sc Biotechnology at IIMT University, Meerut. The university does not encourage campus placement drives for this course specifically. The majority of students go for higher studies like M.Sc or get jobs off-campus independently.
College facilities are satisfactory. Wi-Fi at academic blocks is satisfactory. The library has a satisfactory management book collection, but the books are outdated and require revision. Classrooms are average, The only disadvantage is that the college is situated outside town, and therefore transport becomes challenging at times.
The Faculty's are friendly and experienced, The curriculum for the course is provided with handy skills such as aptitude, verbal aptitude, and communication classes, which are beneficial for placement training.
The maximum package that was provided was approximately 6 LPA, and the minimum package that was provided was approximately 2.5 LPA. I would term the average package to be around 3.4 LPA. There are no internships being provided by the college side for anyone, so we all go off-campus or through personal connections.
Hostel accommodations are sufficient with clean rooms, but mess food can be better in quality. There are sports and medical facilities available and are regularly maintained. There is a good collection of books in the library
All the Teachers are extremely approachable and give project work based on the projects as well as concept. The course syllabus is updated every year to suit industry demands, incorporating fashionable topics like Cloud Computing and Data Analytics.
Around 55–60% of the students also obtain internship roles in software development, web development, and IT support positions, primarily in startups and small local IT companies. The posts they receive are software tester, junior developer, and technical support executive.
The infrastructure of the department is complete and taken care of by the administration of the university. The campus is well maintained, The university library is also provided with a good amount of books related to agriculture, soil science, horticulture, and plant pathology and seating arrangement for study properly.
Masters are trained and experienced and assist students with notes, practical, and doubt clarification. They are also involved in research projects, making the lectures more substantial. The standard of exams is very competitive, particularly in agricultural subjects.
Approximately 60% of the students of B.Sc Agriculture course got placed in campus placements. The highest package was approximately 7 LPA, and the lowest package was close to 2 LPA. Patanjali Ayurved, PI Industries, Syngenta, and UPL are some of the major companies visiting for placement.
The class rooms are properly maintained, and a few of them are equipped with projectors and digital boards to support interactive learning processes. The library contains sufficient books in main subjects such as marketing, finance, general business, and management, and 24/7 Wi-Fi in the study block.
The faculty for the BBA course is cooperative and has academic as well as industrial knowledge. The course curriculum is good and consists of relevant subjects required by the corporate world, though practical exposure would improve their course.
BBA program candidates of IIMT University, who are eligible and come under the placement category, primarily receive good placement offers. The average and minimum packages of the BBA students are approximately ₹5 LPA and ₹2.5 LPA, respectively, with the average package being about ₹3.5 LPA. HDFC Life, Kotak Securities, and ICICI Lombard are among the prominent recruiters
The infrastructure was adequate and proper for MBA students. The big classrooms with proper projectors and a proper collection of business, finance, and marketing books in the library were present. Seminar halls were utilized regularly for guest lectures and workshops.
The majority of the teachers were experienced and were highly practical oriented besides imparting theoretical knowledge. They guided us in preparation for industry needs and interviews with mock GDs and PI sessions. The course was commerce-based, and it taught all the required management topics.
Approximately 65-70% of my MBA batch students were placed with campus placements. The highest salary package that came was around ₹12 LPA, and the lowest was around ₹3 LPA. Wipro, Byju's, and Capgemini were the major recruiters.
There is a canteen on the campus which serves hygienic and cheap food, good in taste as well. Boys' and girls' hostels have facilities with proper security and basic amenities. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided but is slow at times during peak hours
The teachers of the B.Com (Hons.) department are well-experienced and have ample subject matter expertise. The concepts are shortfully described by them, and they never hesitate to clear students' misconceptions, either within or outside the class.
IIMT have some campus interviews by local firms and financial companies but the number of top-profile visiting companies for this course is very limited. The average placement salary package for B.Com (Hons.) students is approximately ₹2.5 LPA to ₹3.5 LPA.
The facilities offered to students of MCA are acceptable. The computer lab is well furnished, and the classroom is acceptable. The Wi-Fi speed is slow which should be fixed, overall environment of the campus is fine with a decent infrastructure.
The faculty members are a combination of senior and average level ones. They are generally good, qualified, and easy to learn from the subject. There are some who are not practical or not so good as teachers. It entirely depends on your instructor for a particular subject.
The highest package offered was around ₹30 LPA by Publicis Sapient to one student. Most placements were done by mid-scale IT companies like Hexaware, Chetu, and Newgen Software. Overall, if you’re sincere and skill-ready, chances of getting placed are decent.
College infrastructure is excellent. Campus is open and green, and there is a large ground for cricket, volleyball, and football. Classrooms are excellent and have projectors in most of them. BCA students' labs are excellent, but the systems sometimes crash or do not even have the latest software installed.
Professors are encouraging while explaining doubts and rephrasing concepts when necessary. Teachers even direct us for project work and practice coding, which comes handy while applying for jobs or internships.
Placements for BCA students are not very strong. Only a few students get placed through campus drives, and the companies mostly offer roles with packages between ₹2.5–3 LPA. Companies like Karvy, Digiversal, and small local IT startups have visited the campus.
The infrastructure is good. The MCA labs are well-equipped and air-conditioned, particularly the programming lab and the networking lab. Wi-Fi is available on campus but the speed keeps changing during peak hours.
The passing percentage is quite high, but attendance in class and revision are required to achieve good marks. Mini-projects and practicals also form part of the course, which prove useful in gaining real uses.
70–75% of MCA students got placed From my batch . The highest package offered was around ₹7.2 LPA from Persistent Systems, while the average package hovered between ₹3.5–4 LPA. Companies like Hexaware, Cognizant, Wipro, and TCS iON visited the campus.
