Keeping with the vision and mission of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, the Central Library was established in January 1998 to promote knowledge and application through its effective dissemination of knowledge and information. The Central Library of BBAU has named Gautam Buddha Central Library after the name of Lord Gautam Buddha. The Library is governed by the LAC (Library Advisory Committee). The LAC is the apex policy-making body that functions under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor. The library acts as a learning resource center of the University to supplement the education and information needs of the faculty and students. The Library has been played a key role in the generation, preservation, and communication of knowledge for the education and research of the university. It provides information services and facilities to meet the requirement of the teaching, training, and research programs. The seating capacity of the Library is more than 300 users at a time. The library services are also open to the University staff and visitors.
The Library has Wi-Fi enabled access to the internet where the users access the e-resources subscribed by the Library. During the period of 2016- 17, 7731 students visited the section. The Library partially automated by using Open Source Software namely KOHA. Automation work in several sections such as circulation, the technical section has been started with the help of KOHA. Entries of more than 47000 books have migrated to this software. The University departments are well equipped with laboratories and field facilities, as per requirement. The faculty members of the school belong to varied regions of the country with diverse fields of specialization. Since courses are multifaceted, SB&BT arms its students for good job opportunities as well as self-employment, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the country.
The University has One Boys Hostel with a capacity of 500 students.

The University envisages sports and cultural activities to be seen as an opportunity for students to take their just place as future leaders of the country in myriad spheres of activity. The students are provided with various indoor and outdoor sports facilities and are given various platforms for participation to channelize the abundant energy, creativity and enthusiasm of students.
The University Health Centre provides basic health services to all the students, administrative staff, faculty members including dependants, non-teaching staff of the University. Health services started in the University since 2005 and a qualified doctor Dr. Rakesh Pradhan was hired to provide health services in the administrative block.
Guest House has its inception on the 4th of October, 2000. The University Guest House provides accommodation services to an official guest who comes to attend the official meeting of the University and also provides accommodation to the personal guest, administrative staff, faculty members, and subordinate staff of the University on a payment basis.
The University has an Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium facility for events and seminars. in which have 500 capacity.
The University has a Gym facility for the students.
The University has a canteen facility for staff and students.
The University has a full-fledged branch of Canara Bank located in the Administrative block. The University has Post Office located in the Administrative block.
