Placement scope for BCA students at Meerut IIMT University is too low. Although the university conducts placement drives, the core activity is on courses such as B.Tech and MBA. For BCA, the job roles offered are general technical support, data entry, or backend works, and too few students are placed under campus placement.
The classrooms are neat, furnished with smart boards, and labs have adequate systems and internet connectivity to accommodate coding and software testing activities. The medical center on campus is open 24/7, and there is a special first-aid and emergency care room.
The teaching staff of MCA are technically competent and helpful. Most of them have appropriate postgraduate qualifications, certifications, and a little industry experience. The laboratories have been renovated with proper systems and technical hardware to support programming and general research work. The library is certainly a bonus—it's clean, tidy, and full of academic journals and books that are helpful for assignments and self-study. Hostel life is a problem, though. The rooms are decently small for two students, and the charges are extremely high, which doesn't seem to be worth the space and amenities offered.
There are certain teachers who are really good they use PowerPoint presentations, hold regular homework and revision classes, and encourage students to ask questions. However, the standard of education is not equal. There are some teachers who are very motivating and interactive, but there are others who adhere rigidly to their schedule, and it makes things dull to learn.
The majority of the hiring was from domestic IT organizations such as NexTech Services, Softwave Infosystems, and PixelEdge Technologies, for backend assistance, junior testing, or data entry positions. No formal internship programs were given, and students had to look for internships on their own, generally from websites or word of mouth.
The mess food is average but hygienic, and a cafeteria with snacks and drinks is also there. Multi-sport events and tech fests are also held annually, which enable overall development as well as enjoyment of campus life.
The teaching faculty in the MCA department is supportive and experienced, and the majority of teachers hold M.Tech, MCA, or PhD degrees. The teachers answer questions quickly and assist students in academic projects and practicals.
The average salary received was about ₹3.5–4 LPA, the lowest was ₹2.5 LPA, and the highest reached up to ₹17 LPA for some students possessing good coding skills as well as project skills. Hiring was conducted by companies such as Nagarro, AppSquadz, CodingKart Technologies, and Root Info Solutions.

The campus is very huge and has a very large number of students studying various courses. The entire department, including BBA, has separate buildings with good furniture and maintenance. The classrooms are clean, well-maintained, and conducive to study classes, but the internet connectivity is not good throughout the campus.
The staff in the BBA department are friendly and professional. The majority of the faculty members have good teaching experience and understand how to guide students professionally. They assist in removing misconceptions and tend to share practical knowledge and theory.
Even with the poor placement situation, well-planned study students with good communication and basic business knowledge are getting placed. New companies continue to visit the campus, particularly for marketing and sales positions.
