Established in 2010, the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi is one of the thirty NITs established by the Government of India. NIT Delhi has been established by an Act of Parliament and declared as an Institute of National Importance. The National Institute of Technology Delhi is an autonomous institution established under the aegis of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The institute has five departments namely the Department of Applied Sciences, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering. Initially, the National Institute of Technology Delhi started in NIT Warangal in 2010 and later on moved to a temporary campus located in Dwarka, New Delhi. Technical Club- The Technical Club of the institute is responsible for managing and taking care of all the technical activities of NIT Delhi. Also, if any student is having any technical issues can contact the member of the club.

The institute offers B.Tech and M.Tech admission in various disciplines. NIT Delhi admissions are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Aspirants have to appear for JEE Main and register for JoSAA/CSAB counselling for admission in the B.Tech programme at NIT Delhi. For M.Tech admissions, students must appear for GATE and register for CCMT counselling. Candidates are offered B.Tech and M.Tech admissions at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Well, you need to remember that , each year the cut off can change due to several factors like seat matrix, difficulty level of exam, No of students appeared for the exam etc.

As per the announcement made by the Education Ministry that 75 percentage criteria for appearing for JEE Mains has been waived off for the academic year 2021 and 2022. Candidates will be eligible to appear JEE Mains exam though they don't get minimum 75 percentage but you won't be eligible for admission into NITs, IIITs.
For admission into IIITs, NITs, SPAs & other CFTIs, candidates must have minimum 75 percentage or should be in Top 20 Percentile (65 percentage for SC and ST Category candidates) in their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board.
