NIT Delhi Cutoff 2026: Check JEE Main and GATE Closing Ranks

JoSAA has released the round 1 NIT Delhi JEE Main cutoff 2026 for admissions to BTech programmes. JEE Main cutoff for NIT Delhi 2026 has been released for home state and other state students for all the categories. CCMT has also released the first round NIT Delhi GATE cutoff for MTech admissions.

• NIT Delhi Cutoff 2025 for CSE for general category students, 8971 is the closing rank, while for OBC students, the cutoff is 4773. For SC students, the CSE cutoff in round 1 is 1430, and for ST students, the cutoff is 1277.
• CSE cutoff 2025 is 8971 in round 1 for general category students. In rounds 2, 3 and 4, the JEE Main cutoff for CSE is 9757. In rounds 5 and 6, BTech CSE cutoffs are 9839 and 10165, respectively, as per the round-wise cutoff for NITD. 
• The minimum closing rank is for BTech CSE at 8971, while the maximum is for B.Tech Civil Engineering at 28420 in round 1 for general category students. 
• For the MTech ECE course, the minimum GATE scores required are 483 in round 1, 463 in round 2, 449 in round 3, 424 in special round 1 and 412 in special round 2, according to NIT Delhi CCMT Cutoff 2025. 
• NITD GATE Cutoff for CSE is 668 in round 1, 646 in round 2, 635 in round 3, 631 in special round 1 and 621 in special round 2.

NIT Delhi cutoff 2024 is out and available for all categories. GATE CCMT cutoff 2024 for NIT Delhi is provided in the following table as opening and closing ranks. NIT Delhi cutoff 2025 will be influenced by many factors. Some of the factors influencing the NIT Delhi cut-off are given below. 

• Change in Exam Difficulty: If the JEE Main paper is relatively easier, then the NIT Delhi cut-off will be higher. 

• Increased Competition: An increase in the number of JEE Main applicants has increased competition and the NIT Delhi JEE Main cut-off. 

• Availability of Seats: If the number of seats is high, then the cutoff will be comparatively lower. If the NIT Delhi has fewer seats, then the cutoff will be comparatively high.

• Go through previous years’ papers and mock tests: For students to obtain a sense of the exam format, previous years' papers and JEE mock exams are important resources. Completing practice exams also helps students identify areas for improvement and gain confidence in their preparation.

• Time Management: Check for the chapter-wise weightage of the JEE Main. Utilise your most active hours for exploring demanding topics.

• Keep revising the topics.
