NIT Delhi Top Recruiters:-
NIT DELHI is among newly established NIT and need time to establish itself.
i'm currently studying at NITD so i think i'm eligible to answer this. Frankly speaking life SUCKS here.
GOOD THINGS ARE:
-since it's a new institute you can introduce changes for better future.
-campus (which is going to come up in next few years) will have cutting age technology.
-institute is pushing hard to establish itself.
-since it is in Delhi so you can take benefits of location like you can attend workshop at IITD, can take GATE coaching and MBA coaching.
-It is totally ragging free institute and seniors are very helpful.
BAD THINGS ARE:
-It is in temporary campus and no updates are available about permanent campus
-classes start from 8:30 in morning and go upto 3:30 pm usually and sometimes 4:30pm too. schedule is very hectic. Grading system is very poor and can make you feel depress.
-Except some teacher most of them are not able to explain the stuffs they teach.
-Hostel is scattered in and outside Delhi. although NIT provide bus facility but at times it becomes very unpleasant when you have survived such a hectic schedule.for 1st and 2nd year hostel is in Haryana in no-man's land. it takes 30 min walking to get to the NH1 (the nearest place where you can get any vehicle).
Apart from these things life in hostel is average.
