NIT Delhi B.Tech Courses 2026

National Institute of Technology Delhi offers BTech programmes in 9 specialisations for the academic year 2026-27. NIT Delhi BTech courses are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and others. BTech course duration is 4 years with total NIT Delhi BTech fees around Rs 7 lakhs. Admissions to the BTech programmes are through the JEE Main exam followed by JOSAA/ CSAB counselling. Students willing to get admission at NIT Delhi must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 5 subjects and have obtained at least 75% aggregate marks, or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their Class 12 exam. For SC/ ST/ PWD students, the aggregate marks required are 65% as per NIT Delhi BTech eligibility criteria. Additionally, JEE Main scores are mandatory for admission to BTech programmes.

The total fees for BTech at NIT Delhi is around Rs 7 lakhs, which includes tuition fees, hostel fees, institute fees and others. As per the NIT Delhi BTech fees 2026-27, tuition fees and admission fees for Gen/OBC/EWS students with family income greater than 5 LPA is Rs 66,500. NIT Delhi hostel fees is Rs 52,000 for AC rooms, while for Non-AC rooms, the fees is Rs 40,000. For Gen/ OBC/ EWS/ SC/ST/ PWD (Family income Less than 1 LPA), NIT Delhi BTech fees with hostel is Rs 91,700 (Non-AC hostel).

NIT Delhi B.Tech Admission Process & Cutoff 2026 

BTech admissions are offered at NIT Delhi based on the performance of the students in the JEE Main exam. Then students must register and appear for JOSAA counselling. CSAB is also conducted for the leftover seats after JOSAA counselling. JEE Main cutoff 2026 ranges from 9119 to 30529 in round 1. In 2026 BTech placements, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) recorded the highest placement percentage at 97.24%, followed by Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at 95.23% and Electrical Engineering (EE) at 94.64%.
