The program consists of completing a specific number of credit hours of coursework, followed by research-based thesis work under the guidance of a faculty advisor. The coursework covers a broad range of core and elective subjects applicable to development and troubleshooting of autonomous vehicles from automotive systems, fundamentals of autonomous vehicles, sensor technology, robot operating system, path planning and control to programming of autonomous vehicles, signal processing and communication systems.
