GNDEC Selection Process for UG and PG Courses
Admission to B.Tech
In order to be a part of GNDEC admission process one needs to follow the following steps:
Students have to appear in the JEE Mains examination.
According to the marks scored by the students a merit list is prepared by GNDEC.
If the student’s rank is within the opening and closing rank of the cut off list he or she can take admission in the desired course.
The final admission in the desired course will be based on the JEE Mains rank, document verification as well as the fee payment.
Admission to M.Tech
In order to be a part of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College admission process one needs to follow the following steps:
Students must score a minimum 50 per cent marks in their graduation degree.
Students have to appear in the GATE examination.
Students should be within the opening and closing rank of the cut off list which is based on GATE scores.
If the student is eligible for the seat he or she can take admission after document verification and payment of fees.
Admission to MCA
In order to be a part of GNDEC admission process one needs to follow the following steps:
Students must score a minimum 50 per cent marks in their graduation degree.
A cut off list is released by the college based on the students’ marks obtained in graduation.

GNDEC Scholarship
GNDEC offers scholarships to students pursuing B.Tech. Scholarships are provided for students who have either been part of NCC (National Cadet Corps) in 10th or 12th standard or to the ones who lie below the poverty line.
BPL Scholarship
Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College assists students who are financially weak. The individuals who lie below the poverty line are offered a scholarship of 50 per cent on the tuition fee.
NCC Scholarship
The students who have been a part of the National Cadet Corps in their school times are awarded 10 per cent scholarship on the tuition fees. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have a certificate or proof of being a part of NCC.
GNDEC Fee
The admission fee for all the courses is paid either through a demand draft, online mode or NEFT/RTGS in favour of GNDEC. The average fee for B.Tech programme Rs. 3.58 lakhs. Hello Aspirant! As far as academics is compared, both the colleges are good in there state. It depends on your keen interest of branch and comfortable place. Still if compared, GNDEC stands above UIET in terms of faculty, placement and infrastructure. So if you're getting civil in GNDEC then go for it. It's still a better option than mechanical at UIET. You need to give 12th board examinations and have a mains score moderately good enough to take admission in GNDEC. Management seats are not there in GNDEC but rank required is not too great. You can easily get admission with a average score in MAINS in GNDEC.
