The placement cell in CGC is very strong and promising. As far as Computer science is concerned, now a days computer science is very much popular and very fast growing branch. The college has good placement record with highest of 31.77 Lakhs per annum offered last year.
The faculty if CGC is really very cooperative and helping. The teachers are well educated and treat everyone with the same scale no sense of discrimination is experienced.

Chandigarh University is an Emerging university which has a good reputation among students. I can’t say the same for the recruiters. Its placements are average. The batch size in mechanical department was 800 when I was there. I don’t have actual data but I guess as much as 15–20 students were placed in core companies. Around 70–80 were placed in IT, KPO’s and BPO’s. They might say that they have 100 Percent placement but don’t buy it. The placement in Chandigarh university is around 20–30% Max. (I know about Mechanical Stream)
would go for Galgotias University and below are the few points to be considered before going:1) Delhi NCR campus - The campus is based in Delhi NCR and that gives an edge to this campus in terms of resource.2) Multi-disciplinary courses - The variety of courses gives you extra advantage to choose a better course specialized to your choice.3) Extra Curriculum activities - Galgotia University have different student clubs which allows you to do different activities of your choice.4) Industry hub - Their campus has been located in Greater Noida, which is an IT and Manufacturing hub in itself having many fortune-500 companies working in neighboring areas.5) Excellent placements - The placement has been tremendously good over the year. So it worth to do graduation from Galgotias..
Best of luck..
