The overall infrastructure is good but a little old some classrooms need repair . Classes have modern projectors nd decent furniture but the washrooms are never clean and are really smelly . Grounds are in good condition . There is a gym as well but the machines are old . Sports complex is there for players.
Over all academic status is decent but not as good as the popularity of college . Some teachers provide students with out of book knowlegde but most of them dont even give a response about it . many teachers are really supportive about everything ,they guide students for whatever they ask for really well . Whereas the curriculum really needs updation.
There are about 60% placements provided . Average package is 4-5 lpa and the highest as per previous year is nearly 24 lpa .students are being prepared for placements in last year . The skilled students have more opportunity .
The total fee for whole course is about 2.5 lakh including 17k tution fee per semester.I think the college life isnt as i thought of it . Environment of college is not focused on pushing students to explore themself or the opportunities. Some teachers support students to explore more .many seminars are also organised but only sometimes they end as expected .
Campus life is decent. A skilled student who is clear about goals can have benefits here hut students who are exploring new things will feel confused and low here .there a re several clubs for students to learn new things but somtimes its difficult to be there as many times clubs team ask for previous experince in thay field so its hard for freshers .
They need to focus more on modern curriculum and new ways of teaching .
Hello Aspirant! As far as academics is compared, both the colleges are good in there state. It depends on your keen interest of branch and comfortable place. Still if compared, GNDEC stands above UIET in terms of faculty, placement and infrastructure. So if you're getting civil in GNDEC then go for it. It's still a better option than mechanical at UIET. Hope this helps.
Dear candidate, hope you are doing well.
Please mention about the entrance exam you are enquiring about. The information which you have provided is very less for guiding you. Every entrances has their own procedure of counseling. Mention me about that to help you.
Thankyou
Hi,
You need to give 12th board examinations and have a mains score moderately good enough to take admission in GNDEC. Management seats are not there in GNDEC but rank required is not too great. You can easily get admission with a average score in MAINS in GNDEC.
Hope this helps, All the best
