MIET has a well-maintained pharmacy building and supply for laboratories which are sufficient for the basic practicals of pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and chemistry. The hostels are good but a little expensive and food in the mess is mediocre.
Teachers are very good at simplifying the concepts and pushing students towards research projects, whereas a few resort to the regular teaching only. The curriculum is updated as per PCI norms but there is very little practical exposure in the industry. The hard side of the exams can be lowered as far as they are manageable with the regular attendance of the classes
A limited number of students get placements in pharma marketing firms or small-scale manufacturing companies like Akums, Mankind, and Alembic, the majority of students are either engaged in the preparation of higher studies (M.Pharm, MBA, GPAT) or are job hunting off-campus.
My overall experience at this college has been good. The campus has proper infrastructure with spacious classroom.wifi, smart board . And the classroom are clean . Teachers are supportive, and sports & culture events make students life better. Library has enough book and study space. Overall,it provides a good balance of study and extracurricular activities.
I'm studying btech computer science and engineering because I'm interested in this field and it has good career opportunities and the quality of teaching is good, faculties are acknowledgeabl , supportive and explain the topic clearly.I believe the curriculum is most updated . It includes recent technology and trends in our field . Overall the course gives a good preparation us for jobs.
The placement at the college is decent arround 50-60% of students get place each year . Companies comes for jobs like software and supportive rule. Some students get internship first. Salary is avarage but good for freshers.and yes, our college is supportive.
My college campus is spacious and well-maintained. One of the best features is that there are open mic sessions every week, which allow students to express themselves and showcase their talents. However, one drawback is that sometimes the classrooms can get crowded, making it a little difficult to focus.Students can engage in various activities such as sports, cultural events, workshops, seminars, and open mic sessions. These activities help in overall development and give opportunities to explore different interests
I really enjoy being a part of this college. The teachers are supportive, and the environment is friendly. I also like the opportunities to participate in events and learn new skills. Overall, it’s a great place for both studies and personal growth.
Hostels are great, they have amazing facilities Wi-Fi, laundry, and sports. You can enjoy sports at night, they might say that you have to be in the hostel after 10:00 PM but it's just on paper. I myself used to play badminton from 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM at night, with no strictness, and chill atmosphere.
One thing that is awesome is our faculty members, they are so overwhelming and helpful. They act as your life mentor in tough times of exams, thesis, etc. The curriculum is up to the mark & updated according to industry needs. They also added placement-related courses like competitive coding (DSA), technical assessment like teaching machine learning to students who opt for this AI/ML for future job roles, and ARP, which teaches how to speak professionally and act professionally. Semester exams are stressful in 1st year, after that, you become an engineer and exams become an easy thing from 2nd year
The placement of our current batch of CSE 2025 is 88%, which is fair if we keep the students with backlogs in mind. The highest package is 1.6 crores per annum off-campus, the lowest would be 4.5 LPA, and the average would be around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Recruiting companies are Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, HCLtech, Samsung, Infosys, 3 Meadows, Josh Technologies, etc. Roles offered are SDE, Front-end developer, back-end developer, ML engineer, cloud engineer, data engineer, data scientist, data analyst, etc
The college has a decent campus with computer labs, classrooms, and workshops. Although the buildings are old, the basic facilities needed for diploma students are available, and labs are regularly used for practicals.
Teachers are supportive and focus on both theory and practical skills. The syllabus is useful for building programming knowledge and technical base. Regular assignments and labs make the learning process effective for students.
Placement support is average, as only a few companies visit. However, many students go for higher studies or shift to private jobs. With good skills, diploma students can also get entry-level IT jobs outside campus.
Campus life is simple but active with technical events, seminars, and student activities. The environment encourages teamwork and discipline, helping students to grow both academically and personally...
A good choice for students looking for a low-cost diploma with decent academics. Better for building a base in computer engineering before moving on to degree studies or private sector jobs, it is surely a good choice for diploma at the end.
The college infrastructure is quite good. The labs have air conditioners and alot of computers. The classes are airy but needs a little improvement in the infrastructure like fans and lights. The washrooms need alot of improvement since these lack cleanliness.
The teachers are highly qualified and are good at teaching. The quality of teaching is good. Tye curriculum is updated regularly and the teachers keep updating us about the industry requirements and jobs.
The quality of placements is very good. Alot of students from our college gets placed every year in different companies. The college organizes alot of placement drives for the students that help them alot.
Campus Life is good like the college organizes alot of events which makes the campus Life enjoyable. We had a lot of fun in all the events we attended. Like events are organised on every festival and students enjoy alot.
AVIT provides a clean and modern campus with advanced computer labs, high-speed internet, and a well-stocked library. Classrooms are digital and spacious, making the study environment comfortable and effective for postgraduate learning.
The M.Tech programs in computer science are structured to match industry standards. Professors guide students through advanced topics like AI, networking, and cloud technologies. Research work and projects are highly encouraged, which boosts technical depth.
The placement support is active, with IT companies and tech firms visiting regularly. Many students secure good roles in software development, data science, and IT services. Alumni networks also help in exploring opportunities beyond campus drives.
Campus activities include seminars, tech festivals, cultural functions, and clubs that allow students to grow outside academics. Hostel and canteen services are decent, and the overall environment is safe and student-friendly.
AVIT is a good choice for master’s studies in computer science. With its academic quality, infrastructure, and placement support, it helps students shape their careers in IT and related fields with confidence.
The campus infrastructure is great, and the labs, canteen, and classrooms are very spacious. Canteen provides good delicious meals, and the campus is also equipped with the Wi-Fi facility they also provide hostel facility.
Very good & Experienced faculty members who provides detailed knowledge of the subject & make you aware of all the other matters relating to the subject. They also arrange the industrial visits regularly for getting practical exposure of things we study, And the curriculum is also designed nicely, year by year subjects and practicals.
More than 70% students are placed in PGPM course. The highest package offered is 12 Lacs and the lowest package is 7 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Tata Capital, Wipro, HCL, and Google. More than 80% of the students got internships from PGPM course.
The laboratories have been renovated with proper systems and technical hardware to support programming and general research work. Canteen is poorly stocked with low-cost food, but the quality must be better again.
Faculty deliver course contents good in class, and if you listen carefully and study well on a regular basis, it is not hard to pass exams. Exams are quite average in terms of difficulty, and if you attend classes and invest some effort on personal study, you can achieve a good CGPA.
The majority of the hiring was from domestic IT organizations such as NexTech Services, Softwave Infosystems, and PixelEdge Technologies, for backend assistance, junior testing, or data entry positions. No formal internship programs were given, and students had to look for internships on their own
I am 3rd year BTech IT student at St. Joseph's College of Engineering, OMR Chennai. The college has good buildings and classrooms are clean and well maintained. The labs are okay with required software but sometime machines take time to start up. Campus is calm and keep neat with enough place for group study. Overall infrastructure is enough for student learning.
Teachers are okay, syllabus is manageable but some subjects feel bit lengthy and tough. They mostly give us notes and slides for easy learning. We have to work hard on our own for programming subjects. There are seminars and workshops but they are not very frequent. I like how college encourages to participate in competitions like hackathon, ideathon etc, this help to improve skill better.
I joined Full Stack placement empowerment program from my college, this helped me learning domain knowledge and coding skills. Placements are mostly IT related as compared to other jobs. Placement cell gives training sessions and mock interviews but sometimes schedule clashes with regular classes. Overall college support is good for placements and motivates us to improve.
Campus life is fun with many events happening every year like sports, cultural fests, technical events and club activities. But college has strict rules on attendance and dress code which sometimes feel stressful. Still, friends and clubs make it enjoyable. The security is good and campus feels safe. Social activities help me refresh from studies.
Hostels are well-maintained. For boys' hostel, there are four hostel blocks A, C, D1, and D2. In these hostels, there are three types of rooms available 2 bed, 4 bed, and 6 bed rooms. There are also four types of mess Veg, Non-Veg, Special, and Food Park as of now, the Food Park is only for boys, and girls have the first three mess options.
Faculty members here are one of the best in whole India, as they are either Ph.D. holders or are involved in some form of research, and they are very open. There are three sets of exams each semester. These exams are not very hard to score in and can be easily cracked given if you put in at least one hour each day. All exams are relatively marking. The course is industry-relevant.
Placements are great, and they do provide placements to multiple MNCs, given that you are pretty good in studies and also maintain a decent CGPA of around 9, which again is not so hard to score at first or to maintain given you remain regular with your studies.
The programs have all the high-tech facilities necessary to find the best frameworks for our course. Wi-Fi is available around campus at high speed, and there are modern labs with all the necessary equipment. We have big classrooms where we can sit comfortably and study. Hostel rooms are kept clean and comfortable, with 24/7 internet access
The teaching quality is mainly good, with a combination of theoretical and practical methods that help make the concepts clearer. No doubt, the course curriculum, which is designed to make us ready for the industry, is another reason for this. It is also adjusted to the new requirements of the tech industry
only about 10% of my batchmates do not get a job. It is interesting to know that the highest salary offered is 15 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. We witnessed some impressive firms attend the recruitment, such as Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, and Oracle. Nearly 70% of my peers who end UPAT companies such as Adobe
Very good college with a lot of opportunities. It give a wide range of experience and help to follow your passion . So I would be suggesting everybody to go for this it is very useful and it help many others to enthusias their life

Faculty members are knowledgeable and have good experience. Exams and tests are conducted on a monthly basis. Students get more knowledge and information about the programs and their progress which helps them to enhance their success and more importantly their ability to improve their skills.
