St Joseph's College of Engineering courses are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. As per the St Joseph's College of Engineering admission process, for B.Tech candidates need to appear for the state level counselling - Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), conducted by Anna University. The single window counselling and admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination. There is no entrance test for participating in the TNEA counselling. Both st. Joseph and Loyola icam are good college and ranking wise st.joseph is a better college. Moreover the placement is also good in both of them. Prefer st.joseph over Loyola and in both of the colleges the placement will be in cs and it sectors. But choose the college as per nirf ranking.
